 | I'm
a a member of Equity,
have public liability insurance, and have advanced
disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau, which means I’ve been
cleared to work with children. But please note that under no circumstances
do I perform for children unless there are a minimum of two other
responsible adults present.
|
 | I
don't do anything dangerous or stupid that children might copy and I
don't make a mess for someone to clear up. I do work with timeless
physical comedy that makes people laugh a lot
|
 | A
full risk assessment has been carried out, and with the exception of young
children wetting their pants from laughing too much, none of my shows
present any
foreseeable risks to the public or audience.
|
 | I’m
great at shows for theatres, arts festivals, parties, play-schemes, schools, family days, and some corporate and special
events. I work in places where children and families have come to see
live performance. I don't work in situations where there is a bar open
and I'm expected to entertain the kids so that adults can get on with
boozing and socialising!
|
 | As
you can see I don't wear scary make up and a red nose which may frighten
children. As my friends have observed, I don't need clown make-up!
|
 |
All
my material is original and is written and devised by myself and my
associates. If you've already seen my material elsewhere, you know they pinched the
idea from me!
|
 | Prices
for parties start at £110 plus travel. Other events I quote for individually
|
 | Midweek
shows during term-time are sometimes a bit cheaper depending on how
busy I am. Note this doesn't
apply in December
|
 | Paradox theatre is a
partnership - I'm Mike Rawlinson (Professor Paradox) and I devise and perform the
shows, and there's Gail who does some of the zillions of other things that
make up running a small theatre company. If you need more information use the
